3. Adjustment
The following conditions must be fulfilled:
1. The system is installed and air flow volume V is set.
2. Switch position of DDS on 3/1 (see wiring diagram SS-970, page 10).
3. Set KWL EC 200 Eco unit on middle speed step.
Turn adjustment knob at the DDS (+/-) until switching point responds. Now read the
switching point and reduce by approx. 15% (e.g. 100 Pa
Þ
setpoint 85 Pa). As soon as
the pressure drops below 85 Pa, the filter signal (build on site) control responds.
Condensate removal via ball siphon
Humidity of the extract air condenses to water in the ventilation unit and flows out over a
condensing water outlet in the bottom reservoir. For this the enclosed ball siphon (scope
of supply) in the condensate opening of the bottom reservoir must be installed
(see "Assembly of the ball siphon").
The ball siphon ensures an effective odour trap. Smells from the drain system can get by
negative pressure, even with dried out siphon, not into the ventilation unit. In the case of
cleaning the ball siphon is easy to open and to fasten again.
IMPORTANT:
The drainage may not rise after the siphon.
The condensate water outlet is placed in the centre of the unit.
It is to be guaranteed, that the unit is absolutely perpendicularly installed (absolutely necessary for normal
condensate drainage).
Assembly of the ball siphon
1. The assembly is made directly in the bottom reservoir of the unit. Open ball siphon by
turning the connection element 1/4 rotation clockwise.
2. Insert connection element from below in the condensate opening until the claws engage
in the plate edge of the bottom plate.
3. Insert locking mechanism and push upwards
4. Attach siphon casing and engage with a ¼ turn counter clockwise in the connection
element (Ensure that the floater is in the casing!)
5. Complete with a connection pipe DN 12 mm (length according to demand) to the
discharge the assembly of the ball siphon.
