Calibrating the temperature sensor
The internal thermometer in the device is precisely calibrated upon delivery.
If you detect a possible temperature deviation when checking the thermal fluid using
a reference thermometer, the measurement values on the temperature sensor can be
adjusted.
For this purpose, the reference thermometer needs to be fitted to the flow line on the
device.
The factory calibration will be overwritten when an adjustment is made
and cannot be restored! Only use a reference thermometer with a high
level of precision for the calibration process.
✓
The chiller is switched off and disconnected from the power grid.
✓
Allow the device and thermal fluid to warm up or cool down to room temperature.
➜
Attach a T-piece suitable for the interior diameter of the hose (Ø 8 mm) between the
connection for the pump flow line and your connection hose.
➜
Slide your reference thermometer into the still open end of the T-piece and fix the
thermometer in place.
✓
The calibrated reference thermometer has been fitted in the flow line in such a way
that it will ensure a reliable measurement process.
➜
Switch the device on and start
temperature control operation.
➜
Call up the calibrate submenu “CAL”
.
➜
Enter the temperature read from the
reference thermometer.
Adjust temperature sensor
➜
Then press and hold down the confir
-
mation button for around 3 seconds.
✓
“donE” will be shown on the display.
✓
The new value has been adopted.
➜
Switch off the chiller and disconnect it
from the power grid.
Temperature sensor adjusted
➜
Remove the reference thermometer and the T-piece.
➜
Immediately reconnect the open end of the hose to the flow line.
✓
The cooling circuit has been closed to ensure reliable operation.
✓
The device is ready to use.
