Connecting the alarm output
The alarm output can be used to output faults to an external device via a potential-free
contact.
Warning:
Risk of electric shock!
If the voltages received by the interface inputs and outputs are too
high and not sufficiently insulated, metal components such as e.g. the
housing could become live in the event of a fault.
Safely isolate small voltage inputs and outputs above 25 V AC or 60 V
DC according to DIN EN 61140 and use double or reinforced insulation
according to DIN EN 60730-1 or DIN 60950-1.
Exclusively use shielded connecting cables. Connect the shielding to
the connector housing. Cover unused plug connections with protective
caps.
