NOVUS DIRECT VENT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
E. CHOOSING TOP VENT OR REAR VENT
1. Top Vent
a.
Remove the four screws holding the cover plate
to the top of the appliance. Remove and discard
the cover plate. See Figure 5.
c.
Cut the metal retaining band (Figure 7) and fold
the sides out.

Remove the center insulation plug. See Figure 6.

Discard the vent cap, remove and discard the
insulation basket. See Figure 9.

Fold the center parts of the retaining band up and
use to remove the vent cap. See Figure 8.

Attach the first vent section. It will snap into place.
