Appliance Setup 

 

A. Remove the Packaging

Remove the shrink fi lm, corrugated top cap, bottom cap 
and column protectors from the appliance. The appliance 
should look as shown in Figure 15.1.

B. Open Front Screen Assembly 

• Open 

the 

fl ap in the upper left hand corner of the screen 

protector (Figure 15.2)

•  Pick up on the screen to release the screen from 

the shoulder screws in the fireplace columns. See 
Figure 15.3.

•  Rotate the screen open as shown in Figure 15.4.

C. Remove the Shipping Materials

Remove the shipping materials from inside or underneath 
the fi rebox.

D. Remove Fixed Glass Assembly

See Section 15.N.

E. Clean the Appliance

Clean/vacuum any sawdust that may have accumulated 
inside the fi rebox or underneath in the control cavity.

F. Accessories

Install approved accessories per instructions included 
with the accessories. Contact your dealer for a list of ap-
proved accessories.
