In top discharge exhaust configurations, the induced draft fan requires a drain
connection to the fan housing. A drain hose (of proper temperature rating) is provided
and should be attached as shown in figure below.

For installations where the building drain lines are above the level of the duct furnace
drain system, a condensate pump is required.
