9.2.2 Indoor / outdoor unit’s communication error

Reconnect and retest

Check the wiring between indoor and outdoor
unit. Are the wires connected correctly?

Is all the wiring between terminal and
Indoor PCB connected properly?

Is all the wiring to the Outdoor PCB
connected correctly?

Possible

Reconnect and retest

-24V<Vs<+24V

voltage between S and N).

Yes

Change the Indoor PCB. If the AC still
displays E1, Change the outdoor PCB.

Change the outdoor PCB. If the AC still
displays E1, Change the indoor PCB.

Return to normal

Turn off the power supply, after 1 minute,
connect the power supply and turn on
the unit.
