TRANSPORT INSTRUCTIONS
This scale features folding ramps and wheels that allow the scale to be moved
throughout a facility. Display head mounting pins are located on the right wheelchair
ramp to secure the display head during transport. Health o meter
®
Professional Scales
recommends that two people hold onto the scale during transport.
To prepare the scale for transport, follow these steps:
1.
If powering the scale via AC adapter, unplug the adapter from the display head, and
remove the adapter from the outlet. Carefully store the AC adapter and cord to
prevent damage during transport.
2.
If the display head is mounted on a wall, remove it from the wall by lifting it up and
off of the mounting screws.
3.
Unplug the load cell cable from the scale platform and the display head. Carefully
store the load cell cable during transport.
4.
With the scale laying flat on the floor, fold both ramps onto the platform.
5.
A. For the 2650KL/2650KG, grasp the guardrail, located on the opposite side the
wheels, and lift the scale onto the two wheels.
B. For the 2700KL/2700KG, grasp the handles, located on the opposite side of the
wheels, and lift the scale onto the two wheels.
6.
Position the display head onto the mounting pins located on the right folded
ramp.Slide the display head mounting bracket onto the raised mounting pins.
7.
The scale can now be transported by rolling the unit on its wheels. Hold tightly onto
the scale during transport so as not to drop the scale. Health o meter
