‹

Move the welding head to a suitable working posi-

tion.

 

‹

Switch off the CNC system.

 

‹

Unplug the blue air hose on the stud welding unit.

 

‹

Unscrew the retaining nut 

(pos. 7)

 with a WAF 17 

socket wrench 

(pos. 16)

.

 

‹

Remove the chuck 

(pos. 6)

.

 

‹

Apply a short pulse of air on the blue air hose and 

thereby drive out the guide sleeve 

(pos. 8)

 and the 

pin stop 

(pos. 9)

.

 

‹

Press the trigger pin 

(pos. 13)

 and pull out the 

feed tube 

(pos. 14)

.

 

‹

Replace defective or worn consumable parts.

 

‹

Pay particular attention to soiling in parts 8, 9 and 14.

Soiling can prevent studs from being transported into the chuck.
