13 Maintenance and Care

13.2 Inspection and Tests

Inspect your chuck prior to every use.

Replace the chuck if you discover burning marks on the welding element and/or

on the chuck.

Before every use, inspect the bellows on the front part of the automatic welding

head for proper assembly and/or damage.

Never work with damaged or incorrectly seated bellows.

This will contribute to a long service life of your welding head.

Inform your dealer or maintenance department if you discover any dama-

ge.

Prior to every use, check whether the type designations and adjustment aids on

the welding head are still legible.

Clean the type plates in the event of soiling.

Replace any type plates that are damaged or no longer legible.
