3. Prior to Operation
• Always follow the instructions of the manufacturers of the vehicles and the manufacturers of the bearing
parts.
• The bearing/shaft seals must not being tilted before and during inserting.
• Only use lubricants which are approved by the manufacturers of the vehicles / bearings when inserting
the bearing/shaft seals.
• Before extracting or inserting make sure that every tool part is in its correct position, to avoid any damage
to the vehicle and bearing parts. Step discs and pressure sleeves must be inserted in numerical order.
For example step disc 4 to pressure sleeve with lettering 4 (fi g. 2)
