Sitzstütze montieren
Die Sitzstütze ist für Kinder zwischen 10 und 20 Monaten
geeignet, die bereits aufrecht sitzen können aber deren Rü-
ckenmuskulatur noch nicht voll entwickelt ist. Sie besteht aus
einem Rumpf- und einem Kopfteil. Die dazugehörige Fußabla-
ge stützt dabei die Füße des Kindes.
Achtung!
Beachten Sie auch das Handbuch der Sitzstütze.
1. Legen Sie die beiden Klettbänder der Kopfstütze (1) um die
Gurte des Trets (2) und kletten Sie sie an die Kopfstütze.
2. Legen Sie den Beckengurt (3) der Sitzstütze um die
Rückenlehne des Trets, führen Sie das lose Ende in die
Schnalle (4) ein und ziehen Sie sie fest.
3. Führen Sie das Ende des Beckengurtes in die Schlaufe (5)
an der Sitzstütze.
4. Richten Sie die Kopfstütze (3) so aus, dass sie etwa auf
der Höhe des Kopfes des Babys sitzt.
5. Führen Sie den unteren Schrittgurt (6) durch die Führung
in der Sitzstütze.
6. Setzen Sie Ihr Kind auf den Sitz und schnallen Sie es mit
dem Dreipunkt-Sicherheitsgurt des Trets (7) und zusätz-
lich mit dem Beckengurt (8) der Sitzstütze an.
7. Passen Sie die Gurte und die Höhe der Kopfstütze an die
Größe des Kindes an.
Achtung!
Schnallen Sie Ihr Kind immer an. So können Sie lebensge-
fährliche Verletzungen bei Unfällen vermeiden.
Achtung!
Der Abstand der Schultergurte zur Schulter des Kindes
sollte möglichst klein sein, damit das Kind optimal in der
Sitzstütze gehalten wird. Ist der Abstand zu groß, so kann
das Kind nicht genügend im Sitz zurückgehalten werden,
was bei Unfällen zu lebensgefährlichen Verletzungen füh-
ren kann. Ist der Abstand zu klein, so können die Schul-
tergurte eventuell die Schultern des Kindes einschneiden.
Hinweis:
Für Transportzwecke können Sie den Sitz des Trets Trike
zusammenfalten ohne die Sitzstütze herausnehmen zu
müssen.
Mounting the Seat Support
The Seat Support can be used for children between 10 and
20 months of age who can already sit upright unassisted but
whose back muscles are not yet fully developed. It consists of
a head support and a torso support. The footrest that comes
with the Seat Support holds the child’s feet.
Caution!
Be sure to read and follow the instructions provided in
the Seat Support handbook.
1. Lay the two Velcro straps of the head support (1) over
the shoulder straps of the Trets (2), and attach the ends
to the Velcro strip on the head support.
2. Wrap the lap belt (3) of the Seat Support around the
seatback of the Trets, thread the end through the the
ladder-lock buckle (4), and tighten the belt.
3. Pull the end of the lap-belt strap through the loop (5) on
the Seat Support.
4. Position the head support (3) at approximately the level
of the child’s head.
5. Thread the lower crotch strap (6) through the loop in the
Seat Support.
6. Place the child on the seat and strap her in, using both the
three-point safety harness of the Trets (7) and the lap belt
(8) of the Seat Support.
7. Adjust the length of the straps and height of the head sup-
port to fit the child.
Caution!
The child’s safety harnesses must be fastened at all times
to prevent life-threatening injuries in the event of an
accident.
Caution!
In order to ensure that the child is held securely to the
seat, position the shoulder straps as close as possible to
the child’s shoulders. If the straps are too far from the
child’s shoulders, the child will not be sufficiently secure,
which could lead to life-threatening injuries in the event
of an accident. If the shoulder straps are too tight, they
will be uncomfortable for the child.
Note:
For transport, the Trets Trike seat can be folded with the
Seat Support attached.
