Zubehör Jogger-Option
Trets Trike als Jogger verwenden
Mit diesem optional erhältlichen Zubehör können Sie das
Trets Trike zu einem vollwertigen Jogger umwandeln. Der
verstellbare Lenker wird an der Rückseite der Sitzlehne be-
festigt und zum Schiebebügel umfunktioniert. Dafür muss
eine Befestigung an der Rückseite der Sitzlehne angebracht
werden, die gleichzeitig eine Aufhängungsmöglichkeit für eine
Babyschale bietet. Eine Feder sorgt dafür, dass das Vorderrad
in „Geradeaus-Stellung“ bleibt.
Für Babys im Alter von ca. 1 bis 10 Monaten, die noch nicht
selbst sitzen können und deren Körpergröße 75 cm und Kör-
pergewicht 10 kg nicht überschreitet, ist eine federnde Baby-
schale und Fußablage vorgesehen (Zubehör).
Kinder zwischen 10 und 20 Monaten, die bereits aufrecht
sitzen können aber deren Rückenmuskulatur noch nicht voll
entwickelt ist, müssen die optionale Sitzstütze mit Fußablage
verwenden (Zubehör).
Halterung für den Schiebebügel montieren
Vergleichen Sie den Lieferumfang mit der Ersatzteilliste auf
Seite 53. Die Befestigung wird an vier Punkten befestigt.
Hinweis:
Es ist zwar nicht zwingend notwendig, aber zur Vereinfa-
chung der Montage kann es hilfreich sein, den Sitzbezug
abzunehmen.
1. Demontieren Sie den Sitzbezug.
2. Stülpen Sie die beiden großen Schellen (1) über den Sitz-
bügel, so dass die beiden Gewinde der Schellen zum Sitz
hin zeigen.
3. Stülpen Sie die beiden kleinen Schellen (2) über den Quer-
bügel, so dass die beiden Gewinde der Schellen zum Sitz
hin zeigen.
4. Halten Sie Halterung (3) mit den Aussparungen an den
Querbügel.
5. Legen Sie die beiden M 5 Unterlegscheiben zwischen die
Halterung und die kleinen Schellen und schrauben Sie die
Halterung mit den beiden M5 Innensechskantschrauben
(4) und Muttern handfest an die Schellen. Richten Sie die
Halterung mittig aus.
Optional Jogger Kit
Using the Trets Trike as a Jogger
With this optional kit, you can convert the Trets Trike to a
full-fledged Jogger: the adjustable handlebar is mounted to the
rear of the seatback and used as a push bar. The conversion
kit includes a special push-bar mount for the rear of the seat-
back. The mount can also be used for securing the optional
Infant Carrier. The spring connecting the frame and fork holds
the front wheel in the “straight ahead” position.
For babies between one and 10 months of age who are not
yet able to sit upright unassisted, a suspension Infant Car-
rier (optional accessory) is available. This carrier comes with
a footrest and is suitable for young passengers up to 75 cm
(29½ inches) in height, weighing a maximum of 10 kg (22 lbs).
Children between 10 and 20 months of age who can sit up-
right unassisted but whose back muscles are not yet fully de-
veloped must use the Seat Support (optional accessory). The
Seat Support also comes with a footrest.
Attaching the push-bar mount
Unpack the conversion kit and check that it contains all parts
listed on page 53. The mount is attached at four points.
Note:
It is easier – though not essential – to attach the push-
bar mount with the seat cover removed.
1. Remove the seat cover (optional: see note above).
2. Fit the two large clamps (1) over the seat frame as
shown, with the ends pointing toward the center and the
threaded holes in front.
3. Fit the two small clamps (2) over the crossbar with the
ends below the bar and the threaded holes in front (facing
seat cover).
4. Place the mount (3) over the crossbar, guiding it into the
respective notches in the mount.
5. Hold the two M5 washers between the mount and the
small clamps, and screw the mount onto the clamps using
the two M5 Allen bolts (4) and nuts, tightening lightly at
first. Position the mount in the center of the bar.
