OPERATION
MODE BUTTON
See Figure 3, page 9.
The vacuum has three modes to accommodate your cleaning
needs.
HARD FLOOR
mode works well on multiple surface
types including hardwood floors.
CARPET
mode provides
a deeper suction and is ideal for cleaning carpets and rugs.
BRUSH OFF
mode delivers deep suction without brush
rotation and should be used on delicate surfaces.
NOTE:
The vacuum always starts in
HARD FLOOR
mode.
Press the MODE button for
CARPET
mode and the LED
indicator beside “CARPET” will illuminate.
Press the MODE button again for
BRUSH OFF
mode and
the LED indicator beside “BRUSH OFF” will illuminate.
Press the MODE button a third time to return to
HARD
FLOOR
mode and the LED indicator beside “HARD
FLOOR” will illuminate.
USING THE VACUUM
See Figures 4 - 5, page 9.
Roll the vacuum to the item or surface you want to clean.
Insert the battery pack and start the vacuum.
Select the appropriate mode for the surface you are
cleaning.
If necessary, step on the back of the roller bar and tilt or
swivel the vacuum to avoid obstacles.
When vacuuming is complete, stop the unit and remove
the battery pack.
EMPTYING/REATTACHING THE DUST BOWL
See Figures 6 - 7, page 10.
The dust bowl should be checked, emptied, and cleaned
periodically for maximum dust collection.
To empty:
Remove the battery pack.
Press the dust bowl release button and pull the dust bowl
away from the vacuum.
Hold dust bowl over waste receptacle.
Press lock tab on bottom of bowl to release spring loaded
door.
Shake lightly or tap sides to dislodge debris.
Close door, pressing firmly until lock button engages.
To reattach:
Position the dust bowl and vacuum as shown.
Lower the bottom of the dust bowl onto the vacuum at
an angle and then push the top of the dust bowl toward
the vacuum until the release button clicks into place.
