"Protect Against Denormals" has to do with how computers process very small floating-point

numbers. In normal operation, this mode should be turned off. If a 3rd party plugin is causing
unusually high CPU load, checking the box may reduce the load.

2.2.2 Channel Redirect Section

Right clicking in this area allows addition of signal processing plugins, inserts and external

sends, as shown in

Signal flow in the channel strip is as depicted, top to bottom, in the redirect area. The channel

main fader is present by default. The relative positions of the fader, plugins and external sends
may be rearranged simply by dragging the items up or down in the redirect area. For example, in

the XT-EG expander plugin on channel GVC F may be placed pre-fader by dragging it

above the fader (or dragging the fader below it).
