MA-301 Module Adapter
One MA-301 can be used to connect up to three PT-150C or PR-150C modules,
for a total of up to six audio channels. If you will be using more than one module
with an MA-301, they must be inserted into adjacent slots in the multiplexer.
Ribbon cables are provided with the MA-301 to make connections to it from the
second and third module locations.
The MA-301 accepts a 50-pin connector, Amphenol 57-30500 or equivalent
(Figure 6-3). Insert the MA-301 into the rear of the slot which will hold the
module. Plug the connector into the MA-301.
Figure 6-4 on page 6-5 shows the connection procedure to the rear of the
multiplexer backplane for a single MA-301 with multiple modules in a full-size
shelf. Figure 6-5 on page 6-6 shows this procedure in a compact shelf. Note that
only two modules can be inserted in adjacent positions on a compact shelf.
