10. If necessary, reset SW1/positions 1 through 4 back to the ON position.
11. Disconnect the audio voltmeter.
12. If you looped back the multiplexer, deactivate the loopback. The system is
now operational.
If there is an apparent malfunction, first check that the transmit and receive
configuration are identical, and that the settings are appropriate for the
transmission system in use. For example, verify that an illegal time slot has not
been selected, and that the multiplexer is set to use the same frame format and line
code as the transmission facility to which it is connected. If the system contains a
Channel Service Unit (CSU), verify that its settings also match those of the
multiplexer.
Problems may occur at the common equipment or facility level which affect the
operation of this card. Refer to the Troubleshooting section in your multiplexer
operation manual for system analysis procedures.
