5.

Replace the Monitor Control panel (plug in the red flat cable and fasten the panel to the frame).

6.

Power up the console and verify that the VistaMax Enabled label (Figure 2-11) is now lit on the Monitor

Control panel. A VistaMax Linked label, also on the Monitor Control panel, lights up to indicate a good

link connection between the NetWave’s Link jack and the facet on a VistaMax system Hub card.

Figure 2-11. VistaMax Enabled Label on Monitor Control Panel

Dual Router Upgrade Kit

A Dual Router upgrade kit adds a VistaMax source selector to both channels of any Dual Fader panel, turning

it into a Dual Router panel. You must install a Link or Link Plus Activation kit to use a Dual Router panel.
Any Dual Fader panel can have a Dual Router kit installed but, for most applications, one to three Dual Fader

upgrade kits are installed in the console, adding VistaMax source selection to two, four, or six fader

channels. The remaining fader channels can also have a VistaMax source as their A or B input source, but

there is no local selection control over the routed VistaMax source to these channels.
A Dual Router kit includes these parts:

Two 10-character displays

Two Next/Include All labels

A plug-in processor card

A blue flat cable

An installation instruction sheet

Dual Router Kit Installation

1.

Perform the

Control Panel Removal Procedure

to remove the Dual Fader panel.

2.

Remove the two dark gray lenses from the front of the Dual Fader panel by unsnapping each lens

starting from the sides of the Dual Fader panel.

3.

Remove and discard the black foam material covering the two display sockets.

4.

Insert the two 10-character displays (Figure 2-12) into the two sockets. Orient the parts with their

contact row (and part number side) toward the rubber silos that hold the A/B labels.

Figure 2-12. 10-Character Display Orientation

5.

Lift the two A/B labels out of the rubber label silos and insert the two Next/Include All labels in their

places. Rubber cement may be holding the A/B labels in place.

6.

Snap the dark gray lenses back onto the panel. Verify that the Next/Include All labels remain in the silos.

7.

Perform these steps to secure the processor card:
