Setup via HLP 4200WD Display
This section provides instructions for setting up the PWRLink II 4800T series
of transmitters via the push buttons and LCD display of the HLP 4200WD
equipment platform. To quickly and easily set up and review the PWRLink II
monitoring and control parameters, use the HLP 4200WD front panel. For a
detailed description of this interface, see Section
4.4.1
Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
1. Verify that the PWRLink II transmitter module is properly installed in the
HLP 4200 platform. Instructions are provided in Section
2. Verify that the HLP 4200WD is powered on and that no alarm conditions
exist within the transmitter module; make sure that the Status LED on the
front panel is green.
3. Verify that the RF input level per analog carrier is within the range of 16 to
22 dBmV/channel based on 76 PAL B/G channels.
4. Verify that the RF input signal has been properly connected to the
transmitter. See Section
2.4 Connecting the RF Broadband Input
5. On the HLP 4200WD, press the
Esc
button until the display reads
MODULE
SELECTION
, then press
Enter.
6. Press the

button until the display indicates the transmitter module
you wish to set up, then press
Enter.
7. Press

until the display reads
TRANSMITTER SETUP

8. Hold down the
