NOTICE: Not for use in factory built fireplaces with hearth
weight limitations.
The Oakwood should not be installed into a factory built
fireplace unless the hearth area is designed to take the
maximum weight of the stove. The Oakwood, loaded with
wood weighs approximately 500 pounds (250kg).
If the fireplace floor can hold the 500 lb. (250 kg) Oakwood,
the stove should only be placed into the fireplace opening
to the point that operation of the damper bypass control and
the top load door operation is not compromised or unsafe.
