Countertop Unit Installation
LIFTING THE ROTISSERIE REQUIRES A 4 PERSON
TEAM AS THE WEIGHT OF THE UNIT IS AROUND 400
LBS.
CARE MUST BE TAKEN NOT TO OVER EXERT
PRESSURE ON THE DOOR GLASS WHEN HANDLING
THE ROTISSERIE.
1. Using tin snips or a similar cutting tool, cut the metal packing
straps. Care should be taken as the straps are under tension
and may snap when cut.
2. Remove all wrapping from the rotisserie. Care should be taken
not to scratch any surfaces if a knife is being used.
3. Remove all accessories and loose items from in and around the
equipment and place them aside.
4. With the metal packing straps and packaging removed, the top
oven should be ready to be lifted off of its pallet straight up. If
this does not appear to be the case, carefully remove any wood
that would be hindering an upward motion.
5. In a synchronized fashion, lift the unit up from its pallet using
proper lifting techniques and carefully position it onto its suitable
operation area. See Figure 5-27 and Figure 5-28.
6. Inspect the rotisserie for any remaining plastic left over from the
manufacturing and packing process and remove if found. Be
sure to remove the protective foam blocks from the glass doors
as well as the plastic tie wrap that is securing the drive unit in it
socket. See Figure 5-29.
7. Verify that the rotisserie is level from front to back and side to
side. Raise or lower the feet to level the unit if necessary. See
Figure 5-30 on page 21 for feet adjustment instructions.
