5. Receiving & Unpacking
16. Using a screwdriver, secure the four clamps flush against the
base
’s walls on each side of the oven so the unit’s center of gravity
will be maintained during lifting (see Figure 5-19).
17. With the metal packing straps and packaging removed, the top
oven should be ready to be lifted off of its pallet, straight upwards.
If this does not appear to be the case, carefully remove any wood
that would be hindering an upward motion.
MOVING THE ROTISSERIE OFF THE PALLET REQUIRES
A 4 PERSON TEAM AS THE WEIGHT OF THE UNIT IS
AROUND 400 LBS.
CARE MUST BE TAKEN NOT TO OVER EXERT
PRESSURE ON THE DOOR GLASS WHEN HANDLING
THE ROTISSERIE.
18. In a synchronized fashion, lift the top unit up from its pallet using
proper lifting techniques.
19. Carefully place the top unit onto the bottom one (See Figure
5-21). The holes in the base of the top rotisserie must align with
the holes of the inner bolts on the bottom rotisserie.
20. Remove the manual lifting rig and re-install the drain valve
handle that was previously removed in step 12.
