Third, slide back the grey sleeve on the pull tube away from the crank handle, tap out the
roll pin if it is still intact, and pull the broken crank handle or remains of the black plastic cap
if it was broken o
ff
the elevating assembly.
Dissassembly is now complete, and to attach the new crank handle follow the steps in
reverse order.
The new crank handle assembly can now be attached to the elevating assembly by tapping
in the new roll pin.
Roll Pin
Slide the grey sleeve back down in place and line up the elevating assembly within the
Yokes of the spring assembly.
Replace the bolts at both the foot end of the elevating assembly and near the middle of the
crib/bed.
Be sure they are tighly and securely fastened before putting the crib or bed
back in service.
Reassembly
