Maintenance
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION:
Unplug the Pump from its electrical outlet before performing any inspection, or cleaning procedures.
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM PUMP FAILURE:
Do not use damaged equipment. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs,
have the problem corrected before further use.
Inspection and Cleaning
WARNING! If the supply cord of this
pump is damaged, it must be replaced
only by a qualified service technician.
Permanent Installation
1.
PERIODICALLY,
inspect the general
condition of the pump. Check for:
• loose hardware,
• cracked or broken parts,
• water leaks,
• damaged electrical wiring, and
• any other condition that may
affect its safe operation.
2.
PERIODICALLY,
wipe external surfaces
of the pump with a clean cloth.

WHEN TAKING OUT OF SERVICE:
a. Dry hands, then unplug Pump.
b. Close Inlet and Outlet Valves.

TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE PUMP
:
a. If there is a possibility that it will be
exposed to freezing temperatures:
• Take out of service according to
3.
above.
• Disconnect pipes from pump.
• Tip Pump to drain water.
b. Do not expose the pump to freezing
temperatures for an extended period.
Temporary Installation
1.
BEFORE USE,

AFTER USE:
a. Disconnect inlet and outlet hoses.
b. Tip Pump to drain water.
c. Wipe external surfaces of the
pump with a clean cloth.
d. Store in an indoor dry area out
of reach of children.
