INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE GUIDE

7_1 N101

When One-point frame is used, Guide should be removed from Drive Frame.

When Cap frame is used, Guide should be installed on Drive Frame.

The following is process of installing and removing Guide.

When Long-One point frame is used, Guide should not be removed from Drive frame.

Installing

1. Install Drive frame on machine.

Refer to "[CAP FRAME]-[Installing and removing

the cap drive frame]" in machine instruction

manual.

2. Put Guide (right) one needle plate and fix Guide by 2

screws (M4x10).

Then fix Guide (left) as well.

Please do not press Guide down too much and

do not have clearance between pressure foot

and tape under Guide.

3. After setting Guide, please confirm following points:

Needle hole is located center position of right and

left Guide.

Height is equal for right and left Guide.

Clearance of tape and needle plate is equal for right

and left Guide.

When frame is moved front and back, Guide is not

hitting to needle plate.
