Spark plug replacement guide

CAUTION
An improper spark plug may have an incorrect fit or
heat range for your engine. This may cause severe
engine damage.

Use one spark plug listed below or equivalent.
Consult your Haojue dealer or a qualified mechanic
if you are not sure which spark plug is correct for
your type of usage.

NOTE: This motorcycle uses a resistor-type spark plug
to avoid jamming electronic parts.
Improper spark
plug selection may cause electronic interference with
your motorcycle’s ignition system, resulting in motorcycle
performance problems. Use only the recommended spark
plug.

CAUTION
A cross-threaded or over-tightened spark plug will
damage the aluminum threads of the cylinder head.
When dismantling the spark plug, keep debris from
entering the engine via the spark plug hole.
Follow the procedure below to tighten the spark plug
properly.
Carefully turn the spark plug by hand into the threads until
it is finger tight. If the spark plug is new, tighten it with a
wrench about 1/2 turn past finger tight. If you are reusing
the old spark plug, tighten it with a wrench about 1/8 turn
past finger tight.
NOTE: Insert the plug cap completely.
