Air by-pass vent

• You can adjust the suction
force as needed by using the
air by-pass vent (28). To do so,
simply slide the cover (29) of
the air by-pass vent.
Should you accidentally al-
low the vacuum cleaner to
come into contact with an
object, opening the air by-pass
vent immediately reduces the
suction force. This remedial ac-
tion will prevent such items from
being drawn into the vacuum
bag.

Risk of injury!
Forcefully retracting the
mains cord can cause a
“whipping effect” (on ac-
count of the mains cord
swinging uncontrollably).
This could result in injury.

Hold onto the mains cord
when winding it up.

1. To switch the appliance off,
press your foot down on the
on/off foot switch (3).
2. Pull the mains plug (13) out of
the socket.
