ance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without su-
pervision.
Risks when handling this
appliance
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
When opening and closing the drawer,
heated food – especially liquids – can
spill over and cause scalding.
■
Operate the appliance only with a
non-slip mat in place.
■
Do not replace the non-slip mat with
kitchen paper or similar items.
■
Fill the dishes no more than 2/3 full
so that nothing spills over.
■
Do not heat sealed containers such
as tins. The resulting excess pressure
can cause the containers to burst.
Risk of burns!
During use the appliance becomes hot.
Care should be taken to avoid touching
heating elements inside the oven.
■
Keep children less than 8 years of age
away from the appliance unless they
are under constant supervision.
■
Use oven gloves or cloths to protect
your hands. Use only dry textiles, as
damp ones conduct heat better and
can cause burns from the resulting
steam.
■
Keep the body away from the drawer
when it is extended.
Fire hazard!
Improper handling can lead to fi re.
■
Do not use the appliance for storage
purposes.
■
Do not use the appliance to heat the
room. Objects in the vicinity could
start to burn.
■
If the appliance is installed behind a
furniture door, it must be operated
only when the furniture door is open.
Do not close the furniture door until
the appliance is switched off.
■
Do not leave the appliance unattend-
ed when keeping food warm in oil, fat
or aluminium! Food may ignite on its
own.
■
In case of a fi re in the appliance:
Keep the appliance closed!
■
Never extinguish burning oil or fat
with water!
■
In the event of fi re, immediately
switch off the circuit breaker or un-
screw the fuses. To extinguish the fi re,
use a suitable fi re extinguisher with
the designation “F” or a fi re blanket.
■
After extinguishing the fi re, notify our
service center (see page EN-18).
Risk of short-circuit!
Liquids entering the appliance’s interior
through the ventilation slots can cause
a short circuit.
■
Open and close the loaded drawer
carefully to prevent liquid from spill-
ing over.
Steam from a steam cleaner can reach
live parts and cause a short circuit.
■
Never use a steam cleaner to clean
the appliance.
