Charging the battery
Completely charge the battery for
the first time. Charging the battery
usually takes 5–7 hours.
The usage time on a full charge
depends on the set suction power.

To improve the battery’s lifespan,
let it fully discharge during use. In
other words, use the device until it
stops running.
Charge the battery every three
months to prevent deep discharg-
ing. Do this even if you do not
need to use the appliance during
this time.

2. Insert the plug of the mains
power adapter (9) into the
charging port (23).
3. Connect the mains plug to a
properly installed socket with
earthing contact.

The charge indicator (18) con-
sists of six segments arranged
in a circle. When the battery is
at its lowest charge level or com-
pletely empty, the first segment
(top left) starts flashing. Once
the battery has more charge, the
second one starts flashing while
the first one stops, and so on.
