Using and caring for the hob
Cooking zone is not heating
If the “ ” symbol flashes in the cooking zone
indicator, there is no heating. This may be
caused by the following:
– The cookware is not placed on the correct
cooking zone.
– The cookware being used is not suitable
for induction hobs.
– The cookware is too small or is not centred
on the cooking zone.
– You lifted the pot from the cooking zone. As
soon as you replace the pot on the cooking
zone, the previously selected heat setting
will be displayed again.
Booster function
The booster function is advisable, for exam-
ple, for rapid searing or boiling water. It is also
suitable for fast boiling and continued cooking
at a reduced temperature.
When the booster function is active, the cook-
ing zone heats up at maximum power for
5 minutes. After this time, the cooking zone
returns to the original heat setting. If the orig-
inal heat setting was “
0
”, the cooking zone
heats up to heat setting “
9
”.
Requirement: The hob is switched on.
