Cleaning the PM2.5 sensor
filter
The PM2.5 sensor filter (5) should also be
cleaned regularly to guarantee accurate fine
dust measurement.

1. Lever out the cover with the PM2.5 sen-
sor filter.

2. Take the PM2.5 sensor filter (17) out of
the holder.
3. Clean the sensor filter first with a brush
and then under running water.
4. Allow the sensor filter to dry out complete-
ly. Only reinsert it when it is completely dry.
Cleaning the housing
NOTICE

Improper use of cleaning products or
cleaning utensils can scratch the surfac-
es or cause chemical damage.

Do not use any solvent-based, abra-
sive or scouring cleaners (e.g. oven or
grill spray) or cleaning utensils such
as scouring pads or similar.
■
Do not use abrasive cleansers (scour-
ing agents or thinning agents) to
clean the appliance.
1. Switch off the appliance and take the
mains plug out of the socket.
2. Wipe the appliance surface off with a
lightly moistened cloth. Use a small
amount of washing-up liquid for stubborn
soiling. Make sure that no liquid gets into
the appliance.
3. Thoroughly dry all parts after cleaning.
Storing the appliance
If the appliance will not be used for a long
time,
– disconnect the mains plug from the socket,
– clean the appliance,
– store the appliance in a clean, dry room,
where the temperature fluctuates as little
as possible.
