TRANSPORTING
When transporting on the highway or roads;
• An SMV mount bracket is located on the rear of the
2X
. Always use the slow-moving vehicle emblem
when transporting. Keep the SMV emblem and all reflectors clean and visible to warn other motorists.
• Use the flashing highway lights and beacon when traveling on a road or highway, except where such
use is prohibited by law.
• Obey all state and local laws concerning the use of the 2X on public roads.
• KNOW YOUR WEIGHT - Do not pull a machine that does not have brakes at more than 1.5 times the
weight of the towing vehicle.
• KNOW YOUR WEIGHT - Do not pull a machine that has brakes at more than 4.5 times the weight of
the towing vehicle.
• Always use the supplied safety chain. Provide only enough slack in the chain to permit turning. Do not
use the safety chain for towing without a pin. Inspect the chain for damage and replace if necessary.
• ASABE Standards state that while transporting any equipment that does not have brakes, the maximum
speed should NOT exceed 32 km/h (20 MPH).
• Always check for overhead obstacles during transport.
