Daewoo renamed Lemans to Cielo after face-lifti ng. Cielo was also
manufactured in their overseas plants i n Indi a and Uzbekistan. Both of
“C ielo” and “Heaven” were used for export models. Lem ans and Ciel o
were replaced by Lanos in 1997.

Ssangyong cars once had been sol d through Daewoo dealer networks
for a few years in late 90’s, and most of Ssangyong cars manufactured
in this period were wearing Daew oo em blems.
