drawings hereinafter and sel ect the connector type found.

Sel ect the system you want to test

Mul tiscan alw ays shows 7 systems  for  sel ection i n the m enu. However,  it doesn’ t m ean
that  the  car has  all  the systems and that all  of  the system s are  avail abl e  for
comm uni cation wi th  Multiscan.

Sel ect any  control  module  from  the menu as illustrated above, then  Multiscan will  try  to
talk  to the selected  control  m odule.  If  the  control  m odule  responses  properl y,  then
Mul tiscan shows the detai led function listings for the control  module.

If it shows the “Communicati on Error” m essage, it is consi dered the vehi cl e has no
such a system or the control module does not support scanner communicati on.
