SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
NOTE:
Must not be used for lifting!
WARNING!
When engineering machinery is used, you must always observe some basic safety
precautions to avoid the risk of personal injury and other dangerous situations.
Keep the work area clean and tidy. Untidy work areas increase the risk of accidents and injuries.
Do not use electrical machines in damp, wet or poorly lit areas or near flammable gases or liquids.
Ensure that the workplace is well lit.
Keep children at a safe distance from the work area. Do not allow children to play with the
machines/equipment.
After use, store out of the reach of children and in a dry place to prevent rust.
Do not force the machine. The machine does the job better and more safely when used at the
speed and rate for which it was designed. Do not use unsuitable accessories in an attempt to
exceed the capacity of the machine.
Use the correct tool. Do not use tools to carry out work for which they are not designed or intended.
Wear proper work clothes. Do not wear loose-fitting clothing, jewellery, etc. as these can get
caught in moving parts. Wear slip-resistant footwear. Wear a hair net if you have long hair.
Always wear approved safety glasses if the work generates metal or wood shavings. Wear an
approved face mask or respirator if the work generates dust from metal or wood, or if chemicals are
present. Use approved hearing protection when working in a noisy environment.
Handle the power cord with care. Protect it from knocks, impacts and corrosive materials. Never
pull on the power cord to disconnect the plug from the socket. Always hold the plug to remove it.
Keep a firm footing and a proper balance at all times. Never stretch over machines that are in
operation.
Maintain your machines and tools. Keep cutting tools and accessories clean and sharp to ensure
better and safer work. Follow the instructions for lubrication. Inspect the power cord regularly and
have a qualified service centre repair the cable where necessary. Always keep the controls and
switches clean, dry and free from grease and oil.
Check that spanners and other tools have been removed from the machine before starting it.
Avoid accidental starting. Prepare yourself properly for the work you are doing before you press the
start button.
Always pay attention to what you are doing. Do not use the machine if you are tired.
Do not use the machine if you are under the influence of alcohol, medication or other drugs.
Before starting the machine, check that all safety guards are in place and working properly and that
all moving parts are intact and properly aligned. Inspect the machine in full for defects that could
compromise the machine's functional safety. Damaged parts must be repaired or replaced by a
qualified service technician. Do not use the machine if its on/off mechanism is not working properly.
Only use genuine spare parts when replacing machine components. The use of other components
will void the guarantee.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELECTRIC WINCH
Use of this electric winch can involve specific safety risks. Be particularly careful to protect yourself and
others around you.
Winch cable
Make sure the cable is in good condition and properly aligned.
Do not use the winch if the cable is damaged or worn.
Do not replace the cable with a cable with less capacity.
Battery
Always make sure the battery is in good condition. Avoid contact with battery acid and other
pollutants.
Always wear approved safety glasses when working on batteries.
Let the engine of the vehicle run so that the battery is not depleted.
