Troubleshooting (continued)
There is an irregular
flame pattern, or the
flame does not run
the full length of the
burner.
There is no gas flow.
Exchange, refill or replace the LP gas tank.
The flame is
yellow or orange.
The new burner may have residual
manufacturing oils.
Burn the outdoor fire table for 15 minutes and reinspect.
Spider webs or insect nests are in
the burner/venturi tube.
Clean the burner/venturi tube.
The valve is poorly aligned to the
burner/venturi tube.
Ensure the burner/venturi tube is properly engaged with valve.
There is a flashback
(fire in venturi/burner
tube(s)).
The burner and/or burner/
venturi tube is blocked.
Clean the burner and/or burner/venturi tube.
The flame goes out.
There are high or gusting winds.
Do not use the outdoor fire table in high winds.
The tank is low on LP gas.
Exchange, refill or replace the LP gas tank.
The excess flow valve has been
tripped.
Refer to “There is a sudden drop in gas flow, or the flame height is
reduced” in this table.
The flame seems to
lose heat when
burning in cold
weather —
temperature below
50°F (10°C).
Ice has built up on the outside of
the LP gas tank because the
vaporization process is too slow.
Turn off per the“Turning Off” section.
Replace with a spare LP gas tank.
Reconnect LP gas tank per the “Installing the LP Gas Tank” section.
Follow the steps in the “Checking for Leaks” section.
Light the outdoor fire table per the “Lighting” section.
There is a sudden
drop in gas flow,
or the flame height
is reduced.
The tank is out of gas.
The overfilling prevention device
may have been activated.
Exchange, refill or replace the LP gas tank.
Turn
control knob
to “OFF”.
Wait 30 seconds and light the outdoor fire table per the
“Lighting” section.
If flames are still too low, reset the overfilling prevention device:
Turn the control knob to “OFF”.
Turn the LP gas tank valve to “CLOSED”.
Disconnect the regulator.
Turn the control knob to “ON”.
Wait one minute.
Turn the control knob to “OFF”.
Reconnect the regulator and leak check connections, being
