SHOCK SPRING ADJUSTMENT
WARNING
Uneven adjustment may cause poor handling of the vehicle, which could result
in an accident. Always adjust both the left and right spring preloads equally. An
authorized dealer can assist.
The front and rear shock absorber
springs are adjustable to increase or
decrease spring tension. There are five
(5) adjustable positions on each shock.
Use a round nut wrench to rotate the
adjuster
q
to make adjustments. The
tension of the shock spring will increase
when turned left, and decrease when
turned right. Adjust according to weight
of the rider.
TIRES
WARNING
Operating your vehicle with worn tires will increase the possibility of skidding,
loss of control and an accident, which could result in serious injury or death.
Always replace tires when the tread depth measures 1/8†(3 mm) or less.
Improper tire inflation or the use of non-standard size or type of tires may
adversely affect vehicle handling, which could result in vehicle damage or
personal injury. Always maintain proper tire pressure. Always use
HAMMERHEAD-approved size and type of tires for this vehicle when replacing
tires.
TIRE TREAD DEPTH
Always replace tires when tread depth is
worn to 3 mm (1/8”) or less.
