Belt Installation: Opposing Terminal

1.  Place belt between plates and affix with hardware (bolts, washers and nuts).
2.  Make sure there is a minimum 2” (5.0cm) of spare belt extruding from plate for future adjustments.
3.  Tighten hardware to 20-25 FT-LBS (27.2 - 34.0Nm).  

Tensioning Belt

Belt should have enough tension so it stays seated onto the pulley but not so tight that it pulls the head plate off the 
weight plates below it.

If headplate has lifted (floating):

1.  Loosen the hardware at the terminations until the headplate comes to rest on the weight plate below. 
2.  Tighten hardware to 20-25 FT-LBS (27.2 - 34.0Nm).
