FIRE DOOR PRIMARY AIR INLET
Once a year check is required to inspect the
primary air inlet assembly, located at the base of
the fire door. See Fig. 18
Lift the door assembly from the stove body
and place on a level work bench, rear face
upper most.
Unscrew the slider knob / retainer from the
door front
Inspect the slider for damage and replace if
necessary
Clean the air slots within the door (s) casting
and slider plate (s).
Reassemble into the door and refit the
control knob.
You will note that the slider can be locked to
a selected setting by tightening the knob
down firmly

Note:
The door pictured is for the single door Compact,
the procedure remains the same for all models.
