To operate the RNS-CCT the user must follow the instructions displayed on the machines 2-line 20-character
LCD display. The SCROLL button is used to select from up to six programmable charge/token amounts, or
to select Customer Value Card balance check.
The user first selects the amount of tokens he wants to purchase by pressing the SCROLL button, then swipes
a credit card. Next the machine will display a “PROCESSING…” message while it validates the card using
the Data Access Network. This usually only takes a few seconds, then it dispenses the tokens. If only one
charge/token amount is programmed then the user does not have to make a selection first. Simply swipe a
credit card and the machine will dispense the programmed amount of tokens.
