3.7 Motion recording
The movement registration and recording functions turns the wireless LAN camera into a basic surveillance device.
A movement or change in the area under surveillance is detected and, depending on the setting, the system sends an image of the
change/movement by e-mail.
Click the camera settings button to access the settings for the motion detection function. Then select
“Confi gure Camera”.
Select the tab
“Motion Recording”.
Motion Recording:
Select
“Enable”
or
“Disable”
to turn motion recording on or off.
Recording Time:
Select the length of the video the system should record when it detects motion.
Invoke alarm when motion is triggered:
When this function is activated, the system sounds a warning when it detects a
movement or change within the fi eld of vision.
Send mail when motion is triggered:
When this function is activated, the system sends an e-mail with a photo of the
motion to the address or addresses selected in point 3.5.2 when it detects something.
3.8 Video playback
This point describes how to play a video made with the camera.
Click the button for the
play function.
You can then search for recordings made at certain times or after motion is detected.
Select the time period you want and click
“Search”
for all the videos within this period.
After performing this search, the system shows you all of the relevant videos in the right-hand selection fi eld of this window.
Mark the video you want and click
“Play”
to watch it.
