Dynamic DNS
If your provider has not issued a fixed IP address, you can set up
remote access to the device via an external service. Various provid-
ers exist that offer a dynamic DNS service.

) before you can begin with the setup
The following explains the settings for the
dyndns.org
provider.
Field
Remark
Activate DDNS
Select "activate" to switch on the dynamic
DNS function and "deactivate" to switch
it off.
Provider
Select the dynamic DNS Service provider
here. Currently only dyndns.org is avail-
able.
Host name
Enter the the dynamic DNS host name
here.
User name
Enter the corresponding user name for
the DynDns account.
Enter the corresponding password for the
DynDns user account here.
ID
Enter the domain name for your DynDns
user account here.
Click the "Use" button to save the new settings to the device.
