2.7 IN-FEED CONVEYOR BELT SPEED CONTROL (ACCESSORY)

The control valve in Figure 13 adjusts the in-feed conveyor belt speed to correspond with the speed of the
splitting cycle. Rotating the valve adjustment screw clockwise slows down the speed of the in-feed convey-
or belt in relation to the splitting cycle and vice versa.

The control valve is only needed when the machine is equipped with a larger splitting cylinder (6 t), which
makes the speed of the in-feed conveyor belt faster than that of the splitting cycle. The control valve makes
sure that the end of the log meets the measuring device at the desired point of the splitting cycle.
