Always swing the lifter into the transport position
before moving the machine.

3. Place the pipe on the lower frame of the
lifter in the lug on the lower frame of the machine.
4. Attach the lifter to the lug with the bolt and
fix with the nut.
2. Raise the log onto the machine using the lifter.
During lifting, always make sure that the rising log can
neither hit you nor damage the machine.

1. Roll the log
onto the lifter.

WARNING! The distance must not be
more than a few metres. Carry out the
transfer at low speed, exercising particular
caution.
Preparations before the transfer
1. Raise the lifting beams.
2. Remove the cotter and pin from the beam
which is closest to the operator.
3. Pull out the beam extension onto the top of the infeed conveyor,
align the hole in the lifting beam with the hole in the extension and
put the pin through both these holes.
1. Raise the lifting beams
