2.4 Steps before installation, selection of installation location
Before starting any installation step, please, ensure that the planned location of the wa-
ter heater installation fulfils the following requirements:
a) It should be installed in a room of more than 8 m² floorspace. Do not place the ap -
pliance in a room exposed to the formation of ice. Do not place the appliance in a
room where another appliance works that requires air for its operation (i.e. gas fur -
nace, water heater operated by gas, etc.) It is forbidden to operate the hot water
tank outdoors or in a place exposed to rain or moisture.
b) In order to ensure adequate operation of the appliance and to facilitate its mainte -
nance, the selected location has to allow suitable safety distances measured from
the walls and the ceiling (Figures 2.4.-1 and 2.4.-2.)
c) Leg fixing: Make sure that the floor is flat and stable enough. With the help of the
“drill guide” (annexed to the manual), mark the positions of the leg fastener, taking
into account the deployment sizes indicated on Figures 2.4.-1, and 2.4.-2. of the
manual. Mount the 3 leg fasteners supplied with the appliance using screws of M8
size and metal anchoring dowels (M8x75) drilled into the flooring, while positioning
the leg fasteners according to figure 2.4.-3. Fix the adjustable legs of the appliance
at a length of min. 26 mm (see Figure 2.4.-4.)
