6.2.1 Assembling the MANDO Adapt

WARNING!
Danger of injury due to vertical suspen-

ded spindle!

Bending into the machine work are when assem-

bling overhead can cause severe head injuries.

Secure components prior to overhead as-

sembly.

For assembly on a vertically suspended spindle 

always use a suitable mounting aid.

Two people are required for this task!

Special tools required:

Allen wrench AF6 and AF10

1. Put the machine in set up mode.
2. Remove all tools from the interior of the machine.
3. Set the clamping pressure of the machine tool on the 

lowest setting.

4. Move the draw tube of the machine tool into front 

stop position.

5. Put the MANDO Adapt [2] into the clamping device 

[1]. The 3 cylindrical screws that are already screwed 

in now engage into the slots at the clamping device.

6. Turn the MANDO Adapt anti-clockwise [10°] to lock 

the bayonet locking.

7. Tighten the three screws by using the allen wrench 

with the correct tightening torque, see 

»Maintenance«.
