  Evaporator Fan Cover

To access the fan blade, the evaporator fan cover 

PXVW ¿UVW EH UHPRYHG 5HPRYLQJ WKH FRYHU ZLOO

not allow for evaporator fan removal as the fan is 
mounted to the backside of the evaporator cover. 

The cover does not need to be removed when 

removing the evaporator cover.  

Evaporator Fan Cover Removal

1.  Remove one 1/4 in. hex head screw.

The light switch is a normally closed (NC) switch.  

When the switch is pressed, the switch breaks 

the 120 VAC circuit to the main board.  This 
informs the main board that the freezer door is

Freezer Light Switch Removal

1.  Carefully pry the bottom of the light switch 

DZD\ IURP WKH OLQHU ZLWK D ÀDW EODGH

screwdriver, then pry the top away from the 
liner. 

2.  Pull the switch from the liner.

3.  Disconnect the 

red

 and 

brown

 wires.

  Freezer Light Switch

  Freezer LEDs

The freezer has two LED boards, one on each 

side of the freezer.

Freezer LED Removal

1. 

8VLQJ D VPDOO ÀDW EODGH VFUHZGULYHU UHPRYH

the left light shield by gently prying the top 
rear corner light shield from the cabinet.  
Remove the right light shield by gently prying 
the bottom front corner light shield from the 
cabinet.

2.  Disconnect the connector and release the 

bottom two locking tabs securing the LED 
board to the shield.

  Basket

The basket slides in and out on rails connected to 

the freezer liner.

Basket Removal

1.  Fully extend the basket.

2.  Lift up on the front of the basket and pull 

straight out.
