Play Story
“Hi, my little dumpling!” says farmer Tim to his pig while looking over the fence which the cheerful pink animal is standing beside. The pig oinks
happily. “Off you go”, says farmer Tim, “you can walk up to your friends on the meadow. I’m sure the sheep is already waiting for you. Have fun!”
The pig sets off at once. On the way however there are many interesting things to discover. First the pig passes by a little nest with two eggs inside.
What is that? Who has placed them on the meadow? Then the pig sees a red bucket. Oh and there is a frog sitting in the puddle. The pig finds the
frog very funny and stops for a while.
The sheep strolls across the meadow and yawns. She’s a bit bored. Where is the pig today? The sheep decides to look for her friend and heads off.
First it crosses the vegetable garden. Hmm, the sheep sniffs the lettuce. It smells so delicious! The sheep looks around and as farmer Tim is not in
sight quickly eats an entire head of lettuce. Then the sheep watches the two chickens playing.
Meanwhile, the pig has reached the bridge that leads over the pond. He watches the two butterflies dancing above the water.
The sheep now moves on and all of a sudden is standing right in front of a puddle where a paper boat is floating. Then it hears the goose cackling.
The pig looks towards the goose and sees the sheep approaching the bridge. Finally both friends meet.
Now sheep and pig are standing together on the bridge, watching the goose swim. Farmer Tim sees the pig and the sheep on the bridge.
He shakes his head and walks on up to the pond. He meets both animals on the pond. “Hey you two, don’t you want to play in the field today?”
asks farmer Tim. Pig and sheep look at each other … and set off at a run. They zip past the puddle, dash through the vegetable garden and soon
reach the field. Now farmer Tim can go back to his tractor. He climbs into the trailer and drives several times around the meadows and fields.
