Working with Aluminium
The left-hand side of the product works with draw-arc technology and can be used to weld attachment parts: mainly
pull rings on aluminium-based materials, but also threaded studs and insulation nails on aluminium and steel-based
materials. It has both a SYNERGY and a MANUAL mode.
• Switching on the machine is done by turning the ON/OFF switch in the centre of the device to the left ‘I’.
• The device will go into protection mode if the supply voltage is higher than 265 V AC (the message ‘MAINS FAILURE’
will be displayed on the screen). Normal operation will resume as soon as the supply voltage returns to its nominal
range.
Supplied with the following aluminium accessories:
Gun
Ring holder
Draw bar
Accessories and consumables box
GAS SHIELDING
Depending on the material to be welded, gas shielding may be required.
The gas flow rate should be set between 10 - 12 l/min.
The table below lists which gases to use depending on the parts to be welded and their component materials. This table
is given as an example, prior welding tests are recommended.

CONNECTING THE GUN TO THE DEVICE
Connecting and disconnecting the gun-control connector to the power source’s
outlet socket must be done when the power source is switched off.
The gun-control connection ring must always be properly screwed onto the
power source’s baseplate before the device is switched on.
