V. Maintenance:
1 - Cleaning the apparatus regularly will make it easier to spot any problems (distortion, breakage or corrosion).
2 - Before use carry out a complete check each time on the condition and correct operation of wearing parts and
safety features:
- a visual check on the presence of all Velcro links (9) , triangular metal rings (4) , straps (3) for maintaining distance, as well
as the condition of roll-up tracks (7) and (8) rods (2) in uprights (1) .
- check contact between the uprights (1) of 2 consecutive panels (6) over the full length of the track.
- check correct tighten of screws and bolts (15) , (16) et (17) of flats (13) et (14) on uprights (1) .
- check all Velcro links for tension (9) . If it appears to be inadequate: detach, tension then reattach these Velcro strips (9) , in
order to maintain the roll-up tracks (7) and (8) .
3 - Radical overhaul of track , in the event of increasing vibration being observed:
- Locate then separate the dynamic panels (6) in question: the linking dowels (5) must not have any free play.
- Next, disassemble each panel (6) to check the wear condition of the 30 shock-absorbing ferrules (12) and replace as necessary.
4 - Following a period of intensive use , it may be that the track is no longer straight.
If this is the case it will be necessary to reposition each panel (6) successively in the initial alignment, otherwise the
uprights could sustain irreversible damage.
5 - Important:
-
If a problem is found or suspected, do not use the equipment until it has been checked by a technician.
- Any damaged or distorted component should be replaced as soon as possible.
